GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

NWSS provides ground transportation for Main Stage artists which can be advanced with Nick Van Nood : strummittranspo@gmail.com or 503-957-1109

ARTIST CHECK-IN / ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Arrival to Horning’s Hideout – transportation services are available for all artists. If you are not planning on using our transportation services for your initial arrival onsite, please advance and you will enter NW Brunswick Canyon Rd and proceed to Karen’s Crossing. Then let the first Staff Member with a radio or security guard you encounter know who you are, they will radio for clearance and send you straight to our Production Office for check in. Do not go through the Box Office.

When you start coming down the final descent into the venue, Please be sure to contact a radio holding staff member to direct you to the production office.

Please include your estimated arrival time on the advance form & stay in touch with Office Staff and if anything changes.

Please advance EVERYONE that will be traveling to site with you.  If guests are traveling separately, they will need to go through the Box Office queue.  Upon check-in you will receive your artist pack with the number of credentials advanced and corresponding meal(s).  An Artist Liaison will escort you to the respective stage artist area or catering.

Please note that while we will have limited Internet access in the production office, cell phones generally do not work in the venue.  Cell phones do work at the top of the hill, at the entrance to NW Brunswick Canyon Road.  If you are trying to reach one of us during the event, you may email; but best to be safe and talk to one of our production office staff members.

LODGING / ACCOMODATIONS:

All artist lodging is based on what is contracted and advanced. NWSS will make the arrangements and communicate confirmation based on what is advanced in the Artist Advance form.

The closest hotels are about 25 minutes from site. Please plan your ground transportation accordingly.

Artist Camping is available for the entire event. Please advance on the form.
You must provide your own camping gear & supplies. You have the option to park near your campsite. If you wish to bring your an RV this must be advanced and cleared. The artist camping area is a nicely shaded area near catering. There are honey bucket port-o-lets in the area. You will also have easy access to the road to transport gear from artist camping to stage. There is artist transport available with advance notice at an artist camping check-in desk.

ARTIST LIAISONS:

Upon arrival you will be directed to the Main Office (The Barn). You will be greeted by office staff checked-in and then turned over to specific stage Artist Liaisons. They will assist you with your transportation and gear.Artist transportation to/from stages will need to be scheduled and cleared upon arrival and check-in.

All stages have Artist Liaisons. They will be available approximately 1 hour before and after performances.

HOSPITALITY:

Catering meal tickets and/or vendor vouchers will be included in your artist packet as advanced. You will receive 1 meal ticket or vendor voucher per band/crew member for the meal closest to your set. Any requests beyond what is contracted will need to be advanced and cleared. Catering Meal tickets are good for the date and meal stated on the ticket. Catering is located on the backside of the lake behind Main Stage. Vendor vouchers can be redeemed at all food vendors at any point during the event.

There will also be general festival hospitality and bar available for artists each day in the Artist Green Room area located Main Stage Left. This will include light snacks and sandwiches, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee & tea, water, kombucha, etc. A complimentary full service bar with specifically requested alcoholic rider items will be located in your bar.

Please note that water refill stations will be available throughout the site, so please bring a re-fillable water bottle to help us reduce waste! We will also have limited plastic water bottles available in the backstage area, for your performance.

SETTLEMENT:

Unless other arrangements have been made, you will be picking up your settlement check on-site, following performance. When you are ready to settle, please come to the Main Office at the Barn and see our festival accountant and our staff will escort you to accounting.
